Day 8 Friday 17th
Today we went to Magic Kingdom. 3 years ago we found this the best park, this time we actually found it boring! So the only photo I took, was of a sky-writer over the car park.
Day 7 Thursday 17th
Today we went to Gatorland. It is an alligator farm, but with a large public side where they show alligators and other wildlife, mainly from Florida but also other related wildlife.
We started with the Gator Wrestling show
There are lots of birds to look at
And large colonies of local birds nesting in trees and bushes around the alligator lake

OK, I am now a long way behind with this blog. Not that I haven’t wanted to do it, but haven’t had time to go to the lobby to log on, and did not find any before we left the hotel, so this is posted from home. Yep, we are here again!
Day 6 Wednesday 16th
Today 4 of us (SS1 did not want to come, he wanted to sleep!) went back to Animal Kingdom to do the bits we missed on Sunday when it rained.

In the evening we went to Wonderworks
Dragonslayer and SS2 enjoyed the flight simulator though they did not use it the way it was intended. They tried to get it to twist and turn as much as possible, I would not want to fly with them as pilots!

Day 5 Tuesday, evening
Well, we all have to eat and Orlando has been going everywhere with us. Tonight he decided that some of the food looked rather good
Spare-ribs with chips and cucumber
He got hold of a chip when he thought no-one was looking
He rather liked it. Afterwards he wanted some pudding
and liked the look of SS3's, but was "forked" away
Next he looked at SS1's which was very red
This one he was allowed to taste
He licked the spoon very clean
and sat there with a satisfied grin on his face.
Trying to catch up
on this blogging. The laptop is wanted by SS1 too, so yesterday all I got was my email downloaded whilst he was online.
Day 4, Monday
The blisters on (the underside of) my feet were so bad this morning, that I stayed behind, well drove the boys to Universal Studios. I then decided later to go shopping, craft shopping. Had a nice time looking in Jo-Ann's and Michaels ending up in Walmart. I think the boys had a good time too, they phoned me whilst I was in Jo-Ann's asking to be picked up, but I told them to walk back; hard Mum, eh.
The Hulk, I think Dragonslayer and SS2 & 3 are on the ride.

Holiday day 3
Sunday 13th, well not a lucky day.
We went to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Again got there early and went to the newest ride, Expedition Everest. Got Fastpass for the ride and then went to Kali River Rapids, where we were amongst the very first in the queue waiting for it to open. When we went on this ride 3 years ago, SS3 and I got absolutely soaked, so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed!
We all got soaked, me the most. We did ride 3 times without getting off.
What I have failed to tell you is that the day was overcast. We did not take any notice of this and expected the sun to break through. It didn’t!! Instead it was cold (for Florida) and windy and eventually it started to rain. We had had enough of being wet and cold, so left the park and returned to the hotel, my blisters were also being a real pain.
So we had some lunch in the rooms
Orlando discovered something nice to eat.
He was still soaking wet, he got so wet that water could be wrung from his arms and legs, poor munkea! He did wave to Baloo and meet a chimp, but no photos taken :o(
We decided to go to Downtown Disney and Disney Quest as that was indoors.
As we left the rooms, I spotted this on the wall
In Disney Quest the four boys tried this (Orlando had stayed behind to dry out)
Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blaster
After a few hours we wanted some food, so went for a walk along the lakeside to see what we could find.
We found a Lego shop
They had lots of little (and large) displays
Cake with flies
Woman milking cows
Pigs
Backyard scene
Nessie seems to have emigrated to Florida
Life size family with dogs
On the walls outside the shop were many little country scenes
Moscow
Sydney
London
Paris
New York
Far East somewhere, Hong Kong? Shanghai?
Then we took my very painful feet back to bed, no we did not have dinner. When asked no-one wanted any though we later learned that SS2 had gone to McDonalds (next to Hotel) later.
For those of you who have heard about the shooting and fight at Wet and Wild here in Orlando, this is less than a mile from our hotel. We drove past about 1 hour before the shooting took place, but heard absolutely nothing (SS2 says he heard lots of sirens when he went to McDs). We drove past again this morning and nothing to be seen.
